FIREARMS TRAINING OFFERED
Personal Firearms Consultation, L.L.C., offers several classes that provide knowledge and training in the safe and legal use of defensive handguns. Our classes offer several levels of basic instruction to satisfy a wide variety of shooters' needs and interests. Each class is offered both as a private or group class. Private classes are arranged with the student to fit each student's schedule. Group lessons generally have set times and locations to accommodate the largest number of students.

BASIC PISTOL:
New to shooting? Or maybe you have a pistol but are not very experienced in using it. This class may be just what you are looking for.
Basic Pistol is an NRA class specifically designed for the novice shooter. In a beginner friendly environment, this class covers basic firearm safety, shooting fundamentals and handgun maintenance, as well as legal issues regarding firearm ownership and use. The class also exposes the student to live fire training.
This class provides a solid foundation for anyone wanting to take Michigan's required pistol safety and training class for getting a Michigan CPL (concealed pistol license).

PERSONAL PROTECTION IN THE HOME:
Want to get Michigan's Concealed Pistol License (commonly referred to as a CCW)? If so, this class is for you.
This NRA course is specifically designed to teach the student both firearm safety and shooting fundamentals as well as techniques for personal protection in the home. It also delves much deeper into firearms laws, civil and criminal liability, use of deadly force as well as the Castle Doctrine and related laws.
Students also receive three hours of range instruction during which they proceed through multiple shooting drills designed to enhance basic defensive shooting skills.
When completed, the student will be qualified to get a Michigan CPL.

CONCEALED CARRY TECHNIQUES:
Curious about how best to carry your gun? If you ever wanted to learn about different concealed carry techniques and wanted to examine different concealed carry devices, consider this class.
In an informal setting, you will not only learn about many different ways to carry a pistol concealed but also examine different carry devices to see which you prefer. Discussion about individualized carry issues is encouraged.

CONCEALED PISTOL LICENSE RENEWAL:
Need to renew your CPL? This class will give you everything you need.
Concealed Pistol License Renewal is a class that provides the student with all the legal requirements needed for successful Michigan CPL renewal. It covers both the mandatory firearms safety and legal review, as well as the range requirement.
This class is available to satisfy individual student's schedules so no set class dates are listed.
