TERMS OF USE

CLASS SCHEDULING:
Every reasonable effort is made to schedule classes at times and locations convenient to students.  If some condition beyond the control of Personal Firearms Consultation, L.L.C., occurs which prevents a class from being presented, each student will be notified
of the problem and arrangements will be made with the students for a make-up class.

CLASS PAYMENTS:
No student will be allowed to take a class unless tuition is paid, in full, before the beginning of a class.

Personal Firearms Consultation, L.L.C., accepts payment for classes online through PayPal, or by mail with payment by money order only, or in cash at the time of class.

To Pay Online:
Go to the class page which describes the class you want.  Click on the pay now button next to the class of your choice.  It will take you to the PayPal pages.  Complete the PayPal pages.  You will then be sent to the Class Application page.  Click on the online application form and submit it.  You will receive a class confirmation by email once all application material is received.

To Pay by Mail:
Go to the
Class Application page.  Click on the PDF icon at the bottom of the page to download a class application.  Fill out the class application and mail it to Personal Firearms Consultation, L.L.C., together with money order in the amount of class tuition or deposit.  You will receive a class confirmation by email once your application is received.  If you send in a deposit for a class, you will be expected to pauy any remainder of the tuition before your class begins.  Any partial payments paid at the time of class must be in cash.  Personal Firearms Consultation, L.L.C., does not accept personal checks.

There are no exceptions to this payment policy.

STUDENT HANDGUNS:
Students may use their own handguns for either the Basic Pistol or Personal Protection in the Home (Michigan CCW) classes.  However, no single-action revolvers are allowed for the CCW class.  This is because they cannot be used for the double-action only portions of the range work.  Single-action revolvers are acceptable for the Basic Pistol class.  All student handguns must be in safe and good working condition.  No firearm will be allowed if its safety mechanisms do not function properly.  If a student's firearm does not perform appropriately during class, the student will not be allowed to continue the class until the firearm functions appropriately.  This may require the student re-taking the range portion of the class.  If that is required, the student will only need to pay for range time during a follow-up class.  Alternatively, the student may rent one of my handguns to continue the class.  The choice is the student's.

AMMUNITION:
Students are responsible for purchasing ammunition they will use during any range work.  Only quality factory ammunition may be used for range work.  No reloads, +p or magnum cartridges will be allowed.  Students also must make certain that the ammunition they purchase is the correct caliber for the firearm they use.  This and other safety rules may be found on the Safety Rules page.

HANDGUN RENTALS:

Handgun rentals are on a first come first served basis.  Anyone wishing to rent a handgun for a class must contact Personal Firearms Consultation, L.L.C., before applying for a class to check on handgun availability.  Once availability is confirmed, the student may then pay for the rental at the same time tuition is paid, either on line or by mail.  Rental rates for each class which involve range work are stated in the class description pages under Training.

SAFETY:
Each student  will be asked to read and sign Personal Firearms Consultation, L.L.C.'s Safety Rules at the beginning of any class which involves the use of firearms.  Students are expected to abide by these rules, without exception. They are for the safety of the students and anyone else who may be within range of the firearms being used. Any student's instruction may be terminated and the student dismissed from the class if that student violates these safety rules.

RELEASE:
Each student will be asked to read and sign a document which releases Personal Firearms Consultation, L.L.C., as well as any of its employees, agents or instructors from liability for any injury the student may sustain during the course of instruction.  Signing the release is a requirement for the student to take the class.
