Personal Firearms Consultation, L.L.C., realizes how important privacy is to our students. Therefore, we have adopted the following policy to advise you of your choices regarding the use of your personal information. This policy describes what types of information we gather about you, how we use it, under what circumstances we disclose it to third-parties, and your rights to update or correct it.
Personal Firearms Consultation, L.L.C., neither requests nor retains any personal financial information from any of its students. Any payments made by mail are made by submitting a money order. These do not contain personal financial information and any money orders we receive are deposited in our bank. On-line payments are made through PayPal which has its own secure site for such transactions. We do not receive any personal financial information provided to PayPal. The student may view PayPal's privacy policy by accessing it on PayPal's website.
Personal Firearms Consultation, L.L.C., does receive and retain certain personal information about its students. That information is limited to what is provided by the student on a class application or other course related documents. Any such information is used solely for business purposes of Personal Firearms Consultation, L.L.C. For example, we use that information to determine eligibility of students applying for classes. Some contact information is provided to the NRA, by way of a training roster, which is required as part of the certification program for the Basic Pistol and Personal Protection in the Home courses. We also use the information we receive to send information, periodically, to students about products, services or other information we believe may be of an interest to our students. We also use this information to contact students in the event there is some change in class scheduling of which we believe the student needs to be aware. Finally, we would only provide this information to a third party if required to do so by law. Other than as stated, Personal Firearms Consultation, L.L.C., does not reveal, share, sell or give any of this information to any third party.
If a student does not wish to receive any future communications from Personal Firearms Consultation, L.L.C., that student may make a written request to be terminated from our contact list and that request will take effect upon its receipt.
